Day 1: Tidal River Exploration
Morning: Shop for snacks at Foster then Drive to Wilsons Promontory approx. 20mins.
Late Morning: Visit the Wilsons Promontory Visitor Centre
- Get maps, information, and tips for your visit.
Lunch: Picnic at Tidal River
- Enjoy a packed lunch by the river or buy one from the Tidal River Cafe (near the visitors centre).
Afternoon: Explore the Lilly Pilly Gully Circuit
- This 3.4 km loop walk is suitable for families and offers a chance to see native wildlife.

Evening: Dinner – takeaway from ‘Foster Takeaway‘
- Tasty pizza, fish & chips, burgers, pastas…
Night: Stargazing
- If the skies are clear, find a spot for stargazing; Wilsons Prom is known for its dark skies.
Day 2: Coastal Adventures
Early Morning: Toora Deli
- Start your day with a very good coffee and sandwich at Toora’s very good deli. Great atmosphere, great people.
Morning/lunch: Drive to Squeaky Beach
- Drive to Squeaky Beach at the Prom. The sand here makes a unique squeaking sound when you walk on it.

Evening: Return to Foster
- Do some shopping for dinner at home with fresh produce from Aherns Fruit Market & Fine Foods or the local butcher for some meat to put on the BBQ.
Dinner: Farewell Dinner at home
- Reflect on your adventures over a nice meal cooked in the Wilsons Cottage kitchen.
